• This page contains all local scholarships available to students who reside in Hasbrouck Heights. Detailed instructions on how to complete scholarship applications, along with deadlines, can be found below.     HASBROUCK HEIGHTS LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS
    Deadline: Monday, March 17th, 2025 at 3:00 PM
    (no late applications will be accepted)

     

    Application Instructions:

    • Fill out applications to qualifying scholarships completely and thoroughly.
    • It is your responsibility to read and understand the requirements for each application and submit all supplemental documents with your completed application.
    • Supplemental documents can include (but not limited to) transcripts, SAT/ACT test scores, essays, resume, letters of recommendation, etc.
    • If your application requires a transcript and/or a letter of recommendation, your counselor can attach them on your behalf only when requested on the “Local Scholarships Application Cover Sheet.”
    • For requested letters of recommendation, include the name of the teacher/counselor letter of recommendation you would like attached.
    • Students are required to provide all other supplemental materials with their scholarship application.
    • Please note: with the exception of the requested transcript and/or letter of recommendation, applications will be submitted to the local organizations exactly as they are submitted to the counseling office.

     

    Important Submission Requirements:

    • Applications must be printed single sided. DO NOT PRINT DOUBLE SIDED. 
    • All essays must be typed (no handwritten essays will be accepted). 
    • DO NOT STAPLE APPLICATIONS, please use a paperclip for each application.
    • All applications must include a completed “Local Scholarship Applications Cover Sheet.” The cover sheet is listed 2nd within the list of scholarships - under the PDF instructions.
    • Please include a new cover sheet for every seven scholarships.
    • Completed applications to the School Counseling Office in the School Counseling Suite no later than Monday, March 17th, 2025 by 3:00 PM.
      • Please note: No late applications will be accepted!
