Mr. Jack Palma, the Chairman of the Board
Mr. Jack Palma was hired in 1955 at Franklin School as a math and science teacher. In 1957, he was named Adult School Principal. Palma served as the Hasbrouck Heights head basketball coach from 1958 to 1961. He was named Lincoln School Principal in 1962, a position he held for 28 years, until 1990. He also served as interim Principal at both Euclid School (2000) and Lincoln School (2005).
In October 2018, he was inducted into the Hasbrouck Heights Athletics Hall of Fame. Always a fixture at athletic and school events, Palma attended the middle school and high school graduation ceremonies every year.
Born in 1925, Palma was raised in Fairview, New Jersey. He graduated from Union Hill High School, and was an All-County athlete in baseball and basketball. He graduated from Florida Southern College in 1950 with a B.S. in Education, and graduated from Seton Hall University with a M.A. in School Administration in 1957.
He was a great mentor, friend, and AVIATOR!!
