• District Goals

    1. To continue to review and implement previous recommendations from audits conducted by both private and public entities.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of security measures within the district.
    • The assessment of effectiveness of all security measures will be completed by April 2019.
    • During the 2018-2019 school year, a committee will be formed to conduct a full audit of security procedures.
    • A committee will be formed by September 2018.
    • The committee will meet a minimum of four times between September 2018 to April 2019.
    • Committee findings will be presented to the Board of Education (BOE) by June of 2019.

     

    1. To enhance an active, inclusive, and multifaceted learning experience that maximizes each student’s potential and empowers individual achievement over a period of 3 years.
    • Continuous review and revision of curriculum.
    • Guidance on successful implementation of curriculum.
    • Common Assessments modified and/or differentiated as needed.
    • Professional Development Plan (PDP) aligned to previous year’s evaluation (if applicable) and student performance data analyzed to inform Student Growth Objective (SGO) creation.
    • Implementation of research based instructional strategies.

               

    1. The District Business Administrator (BA) in conjunction with the Superintendent will update and review the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for business functions. The SOP will include a system of internal controls. Three new procedures will be adopted by June of 2019. This will be a multi-year goal with a comprehensive review occurring by June of each school year.
