SCHOOL:
Hasbrouck Heights Middle School is a comprehensive public middle school enrolling approximately 487 students in grades 6-8 and accredited by the New Jersey Department of Education. Hasbrouck Heights Middle School originated in 1987 in the current location though it was originally Franklin School which opened in 1906. The school environment can best be described as one of caring interaction and collaboration among students, educators, parents and members of the community. Hasbrouck Heights Middle School shares the campus with Hasbrouck Heights High School. The middle school has a portion of the building and limits student contact with high school students. However, the sharing of the building does benefit our students and staff, as our students and staff are able to interface with each other, sharing ideas and generally providing for a smoother transition from one school to the next.
