Earlier this week, the Euclid School Student Council had the opportunity to visit Borough Hall and learn more about local government in action!

Students toured the building, with highlights including the Food Pantry, the Mayor’s Office, and the Council Chambers. They also had the chance to meet Mayor Kistner and Councilwoman Sodora, who took time to answer their thoughtful questions and share insights about serving our community.

To cap off a great day of learning, the students enjoyed lunch across the street at Heights Pizza.

Thank you to Mayor Kistner and everyone at Borough Hall for making this a memorable experience for our student leaders! #EuclidEagles #StudentCouncil #CommunityConnections #LocalGovernment #AviatorsFlyHigherTogether

As a special Euclid tradition, Mr. Bill hung his final class tile today. 🎨🧩

Created by a talented 5th grade student, this tile represents the Class of 2026 as they prepare to move on to middle school. This meaningful tradition was started many years ago by Mrs. Linda Simmons and continues to be a cherished part of Euclid School's history.

Thank you, Mr. Bill, for helping preserve this legacy and for the care you've shown our students and school community over the years. Wishing our 5th graders the very best as they begin their next chapter! 💙💛 #EuclidSchool #ClassOf2026 #SchoolTraditions #EuclidPride #MovingUp #MakingMemories

🎓💙 Bittersweet doesn't begin to describe this moment.

Today we celebrate our amazing 5th graders as they prepare for their next chapter. Watching them grow, learn, and become the incredible young people they are today has been a privilege. Their laughter, kindness, determination, and school spirit have helped make Euclid School such a special place.

We are so proud of each and every one of them. While they will be deeply missed, we know they are ready for the exciting adventures that await them in middle school.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! Once a Euclid Eagle, always a Euclid Eagle. 🦅💙💛

Today, Euclid School proudly ran and lined the Boulevard to cheer on and run with the runners participating in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics New Jersey! 🏃‍♂️🔥

Our students, staff, and families came together to support the incredible efforts of the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department and law enforcement agencies across the state as they carried the "Flame of Hope" through our community. The Torch Run raises both awareness and funds for Special Olympics New Jersey athletes.

We are thrilled to share that Euclid School raised over $4,500 in support of Special Olympics New Jersey! 🎉

Thank you to our generous families, dedicated staff, and the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department for making this event such a success. Together, we are helping create opportunities for athletes of all abilities to compete, grow, and shine.

Lincoln's 5th Grade Wax Museum is a fun and engaging event where students bring history to life! Each student researches a famous person, writes and memorizes a speech about their life and accomplishments, and dresses up as their chosen figure. During the presentation, students stand as “living wax figures” and share what they have learned with visitors, creating an interactive museum experience for all to enjoy.

TOTY Lunch 2026

The Hasbrouck Heights Middle School Math Department recently participated in professional development for our SAVVAS Envisions program. We had the opportunity to work with a SAVVAS representative who presented a demo lesson in Ms. Keller's Class and shared strategies and resources to support student learning. We also had the chance to see our own teachers, Mrs. Falquez and Mrs. Cahoon, lead a demo lesson, showcasing engaging instructional practices and collaboration within our department. It was a valuable experience that provided new ideas and strengthened our continued commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences for our students.

At HHMS, we welcomed Dana Reyngoudt, Jeremy Selenfriend, Lora D'Amore, and Claudio Juarez for Career Day to get insight on what types of interesting jobs are out there! We got a "sneak peak" of what a typical day would look like for the VP of a partner marketing company, an air traffic controller, a veterinary diagnostic consultant, and a prosthetic makeup designer! It was great to hear about what fascinating endeavors our presenters go on during their daily lives! Students were both entertained and informed, receiving the opportunity to raise their hand and ask questions! It was overall a great experience and helped students get an idea of what they may want to do in the future! 🎓
