From sharing breakfast together to participating in engaging team-building activities with our amazing PE Department, our seniors had the opportunity to strengthen relationships, build teamwork, and reflect on the qualities that will help them succeed beyond the classroom.
A special thank you to guest speaker Gian Paul Gonzalez for sharing his powerful “ALL IN” message! His words about commitment, perseverance, and choosing to give your best resonated with our seniors. His message of hope reminded us that no matter the challenges we face, we have the ability to move forward with purpose, believe in ourselves, and commit fully to our goals.
Today was about more than preparing for graduation. It was about preparing our seniors for life beyond HHHS.

Students in Mrs. Garfi’s class are using Word Chaining to practice identifying and reading open and closed syllables! By changing one sound at a time, students are strengthening their phonemic awareness, decoding skills, and understanding of how syllables work in words.
👏 Building strong readers, one sound at a time! 🌟

Mrs. DiGisi and Mrs. Garfi led a special read-aloud and meaningful discussion about our school's Buddy Bench! 🪑💕
Together, students learned about the importance of kindness, inclusion, friendship, and looking out for one another. They talked about what it means to be a good friend, how to recognize when someone may be feeling left out, and how a simple act of kindness can make someone's day brighter! ✨
Our Buddy Bench is more than just a place to sit—it's a reminder that everyone deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and included! 💙

Our K–2 teachers are making Heggerty Phonemic Awareness a daily part of literacy instruction! 🗣️📖
What is Heggerty? It is a structured, engaging routine that helps students develop phonemic awareness—the ability to hear, identify, blend, segment, and manipulate the individual sounds in spoken words.
Through short, interactive daily lessons, our students practice skills such as:
🔤 Hearing and identifying sounds
👂 Blending sounds to make words
✂️ Segmenting words into individual sounds
🔄 Adding, deleting, and changing sounds
These foundational skills help our youngest learners become confident, capable readers and spellers.
At Euclid, we know that strong readers start with strong foundations! ❤️🧡
Great things are happening in K–2! 🦅📚 #EuclidEagles #AviatorsFlyHigherTogether #PhonemicAwareness #Heggerty #BuildingStrongReaders #EarlyLiteracy

Last week, our Aviators brought the energy, creativity, and school spirit from start to finish! From the incredible hallway decorations and exciting Spirit Week games to the entertaining class skits and Pep Rally, our students and staff came together to make it a week to remember.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, helped organize events, decorated, performed, competed, and contributed to the incredible atmosphere throughout the school.
And, of course, a BIG congratulations to our SENIORS for winning Spirit Week!
We are so proud of our Aviators for showing what Aviator Pride looks like!

Respect is more than just a word—it’s shown through our actions, our words, and the way we treat others every day. Let’s continue to build a school community where everyone feels valued, supported, and included.
Thank you to our students and staff for helping make HHHS a place where respect, responsibility, and community take flight!
Let’s make respect a daily choice. Go Heights!

Our 5th grade readers are diving into their book clubs during Reading class! Students are reading, discussing, sharing ideas, and learning from one another as they explore their books together.
Book clubs help our students build reading stamina, comprehension, vocabulary, and critical-thinking skills while developing a love of reading and the ability to engage in meaningful conversations about literature. 📖💬
Our Eagles are proving that great readers don’t just read—they think, discuss, and connect! 🦅

Thank you to all of our club advisors and student leaders who took the time to prepare, answer questions, and showcase what makes each club special. We are proud to see so many of our Aviators getting involved, trying something new, and finding their place within our school community.
Get involved. Find your passion. Make a difference.

Our 4th graders took their learning outside to experiment with collisions and energy transfer! Students used balls of different sizes and weights to observe how energy moves during collisions and to put their science lessons into action.
Hands-on learning helps students see science in action, ask questions, make predictions, and draw conclusions from their observations. What better way to learn than by getting outside and experimenting! 🌟🧪

Our 3rd grade teachers are working together to support student learning! Every grade level, each day during their prep time, our teachers meet as a team to collaborate, share ideas, examine student learning, and plan instruction.
This daily collaboration helps ensure that our students receive consistent, high-quality instruction across classrooms while allowing teachers to share strategies, address student needs, and learn from one another.
When teachers work together, our students benefit! We are proud of the teamwork and dedication our teachers bring to their classrooms every day. 🧡🖤

Our primary grade students are hard at work building their phonics skills! Through the IMSE (Institute for Multi-Sensory Education) approach, students engage in explicit, systematic, and multisensory phonics instruction that helps connect sounds, letters, and words.
Our Euclid teachers have completed 30 hours of IMSE training, strengthening their ability to provide consistent, research-aligned instruction that builds a strong foundation for reading, spelling, decoding, and ultimately, reading comprehension.
We know that strong readers are built on strong foundations—and that work starts early! 📖❤️
