The 5th grade classes have been working on Research-Based Argument Essays. After receiving a letter from Ms. Zeigler about their thoughts on homework, students chose a side (for or against) and researched the benefits and disadvantages of homework. On Friday, we enjoyed a mini-celebration, where we read each other's published arguments and provided useful feedback to the writers, including a "glow and grow", for future drafts.
