Summer Reading & Learning Resources for Elementary Students
We hope this message finds you and your family enjoying a relaxing and fun-filled summer! As we reach the midpoint of our break, it’s the perfect time to pause and remember how valuable just a little reading each day can be. Keeping up with reading during the summer helps students maintain the skills they worked so hard to develop throughout the school year—and even just 15 minutes a day can make a big difference.
To support your child’s learning, we’ve shared optional English Language Arts and Mathematics resources. These grade-level materials are designed to be flexible and can be used at your own pace at home. You can explore the resources by grade level here:
In addition, we encourage families to visit the Hasbrouck Heights Public Library, a wonderful local resource offering a welcoming space and exciting summer reading programs for children of all ages. Their Summer Reading Program features fun activities and incentives to help keep reading engaging and enjoyable all summer long. Visit their website at hasbrouckheightslibrary.org to learn more and plan your visit.
Thank you for making learning a part of your child’s summer routine. We can’t wait to welcome our students back this fall—refreshed, recharged, and ready for another wonderful year!
