Dear Hasbrouck Heights Resident,
Kindergarten registration will begin on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at both Euclid and Lincoln Elementary Schools Monday thru Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Night time appointments available on March 3rd, 4th and 5th from 5:30 pm to 7:15 pm. Kindergarten Registration is completed via an appointment, either day or night, with the homeschool building secretary. Please see the below directions and details to assist you throughout this process.
Registration Details
Location: Based on residence:
Lincoln School (Kipp Avenue and north): Call 201-393-8182.
Euclid School (Jefferson Avenue and south): Call 201-393-8176.
Program: The Kindergarten program is a full-day schedule, running from 8:20 a.m. to 3:03 p.m.
Eligibility: Children must be 5 years old on or before October 1, 2026.
Before- and After-School Care: A KEYS program will be available at an additional cost. Information about KEYS will be emailed to families over the summer after registration.

Home Language Survey
Physical Examination Form (dated, signed, and stamped by a medical provider)
Immunization Form* (signed by a physician)
Dental Exam Report (with date, dentist’s name, and signature)
Health Assessment Medical History Form
Authorization for Sharing Information Form
If applicable
Physician’s Request to Administer Medication Form (for students with medication requirements or conditions like allergies)
Authorization for Sharing Information Form
*Evidence of Mantoux Tuberculin Skin Testing (within the past six months) is required for students entering the school system for the first time, if born in a high TB incidence country.
Proof of Residency
One of the following:
Property tax bill, deed, contract of sale, mortgage, lease, or signed notarized letter from landlord (student’s name must appear on the lease or letter).
Four additional proofs of residency, original mailed documents only (online “paperless” bills and/or statements will not be accepted).
Voter registration, licenses, permits, financial account information, utility bills, delivery receipts, or evidence of attachment to the given address (copies or computer-generated forms will not be accepted.)
Placement at Euclid or Lincoln School will be based on multiple criteria and finalized in August 2026.
